Windermere Northwest gears up for school

As Fall slowly approaches with it’s promises of crisp mornings and colorful leaves, so do the annual preparations for the upcoming school year.  No student should go into school unprepared. Through Windermere Foundation’s Backpack Program our office is donating 28 backpacks filled with goodies such as; calculators, thumbdrives, notebooks, erasers, and many other necessities. This year Broadview-Thomson K-8 School will be receiving these backpacks along with a check for $1500 which will go to their Family Support Worker.  In addition, we are also providing supplies to Viewland Elementary with a $1500 check for their Family Support Worker. We have been donating school supplies to our local schools for over a decade now and are thankful for the opportunity to help our neighbors.
